In other countries such as the US, there is both a selling agent and a buyers’ agent in many transactions, so the interests of both parties are represented.

We don’t accept commissions from sellers or project marketers. The same cannot be said for selling agents using it as a tool to generate sales leads, or taking money from the seller.
The same also can’t be said for those helping you buy new a house and land or off-the-plan property. They may not charge you a fee directly, but rest assured you are paying them indirectly via the developer or project marketer; generally 4% to 5% is built into the purchase price to cover this, but it can be as much as 10% in extreme cases.
That’s up to 10% growth you need in your property value before you break even.
