Craig Hogg is an active property investor and renovator. He grew up in Sydney’s inner west, spending his early working life travelling throughout Europe and Australia, employed in hospitality management and commercial IT solution sales.
His passion for property led him to Washington Brown Tax Depreciation where he spent 14 years as National Sales Manager, during this time he oversaw the production of more than 120,000 tax depreciation reports for both commercial and residential investment properties.
Craig has helped Washington Brown grow to become leaders in the field of property-related tax deductions working with clients such as RPData/Corelogic, Commonwealth Bank, St George Bank, Suncorp, Meriton Apartments, Savills, CBRE, Knight Frank, Finbar International, Park Trent, Bell Partners, TRG Property, Dyldam, Ray White, LJ Hooker, Morton Real Estate, Starr Partners to name a few.
During this time he has witnessed many different investment strategies. Some of those have been successful, whilst others have not.
Over the years he has built and worked closely with a large referral network including property developers, investors, accountants, financial planners, real estate agents, mortgage brokers, project marketers and buyers agents.
Watching and learning what has worked over the long term for many investors has driven Craig to take his love of property to the next level, become a Buyers Agent and establish the Edge Property Buyers a Brisbane & Sunshine Coast Buyers Agency. The sole goal is to provide long-term property buying strategies to other like-minded property investors and home buyers.
After 3.5 years commuting between Sydney and Brisbane buying property, Craig relocated permanently to the Sunshine Coast and now only commutes to Brisbane. This meant he could expand the product offering to help owner-occupiers as well as investors to purchase property in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.
Apart from his passion for property Craig has a passion for sport, travelling the world, and dreams of sailing the Whitsunday islands.
